Recommended settings for 1080p tv? #778

After updating my Nvidia Shield to 5.0/5.1, I noticed some choppy playback. I dont have a 4k tv so should I just follow the recommended settings posted here? thanks!

When you say choppy what do you mean? Just recently I've been getting pictures break up and Pixelation on streams every 10mins or so, if you have auto motion on your tv turn it off along with adjust refresh rate, I follow these settings :

Except I don't have adjust refresh rate on

I have a 4k TV but don't watch any 4k content on spmc so they are the settings

thanks for the 1080p settings link! Will try that tonight.

Soon as I load up any non real debrid streams it was stuttering . (oops not sure if that is ok to talk about here?) If it isnt please delete this post. Dont want to break any rules :) Everything was working fine before the Shield 5.0 update.

I never use auto motion on my Tv hate the look.

Makes sure adjust refresh rate is switched off! It will stop the stuttering!

Adjust refresh rate needs to be off! Will help it especially with Live TV
