audio sync with live tv playback #808

SPMC 16.6 tvheadend HDHomeRun tuner

With the default setting selected for video/acceleration my audio goes out of sync by about 3 seconds when watching live TV. I can start something recording and watch it a couple of seconds later and the audio stays in sync. I've tried turning off acceleration for mpeg2 and that seems to help (but not always). I'm trying to do more testing to isolate the issue to 720p or 1080i broadcasts. But I'm very confused as to why the same stream would work from a recording but not live.

Turn off adjust refresh rate, i done that and it's perfectly in sync. That setting isn't actually needed on I've found

I'll try that cause I just had it go out of sync on a 480i broadcast.

Do you mean on the playback settings: "adjust display refresh rate"? If so I already have it off.

I just turned MPEG2 off as well as MPEG4 under acceleration. 480i is still going out of sync. hmmmm.

Just to push this along; MRMC plays live TV fine with the exact same setup.
