Open war59312 opened 8 years ago

war59312 commented 8 years ago

Hey,

Oddly, I get no sound with this file, if using Passthrough. Disabled Passthrough and sound is fine.

Nvidia Shield TV and Pioneer 830

Log: http://spmclogs.semperpax.com/pmartclfn

Note: I let it play on Passthrough for a bit with no sound then I turn off Passthrough and have sound.

Works for me. Please retry with 16.1.2 and re-upload log

war59312 commented 8 years ago

As requested:

http://xbmclogs.com/pcouszrsj

Afraid, same behavior for me.

Thanks for taking another look.

sudo-tee commented 8 years ago

I have te same behavior with all of my videos, on my shield. AC3 and DD5.1

I use the HDMI cable as output to my receiver.

cesarious commented 8 years ago

Did you happen to play with the 'Enable DSP' function on Audio-Expert configuration?.

I did so and had the same issue, no sound from movies (DTS, Dolby). Audio files worked though (.mp3).

Fixed by clearing 'data' and re-configuring from scratch. Not much of an issue in my case.

My setup is similar to the ones described. Shieldtv-hdmi-receiver-hdmi-tv.

war59312 commented 8 years ago

In my case I have sound from other DTS, Dolby, AC-3, etc. just fine.

Just this 1 move I've noticed so far that has no sound at the moment.

FYI: Same with 16.2.0.

FYI:

Still broken on 16.3-0 with:

SHIELD Android TV Software Upgrade 3.2

New Log @ https://www.war59312.com/kodi/

See: AccrossTheUniverseNoSound_Latest.txt

1.) Passthrough enabled when video starts - no Sound

2.) Disable Passthrough and have sound now

3.) Turn Passthrough back on and again no sound

I notice this in the log:

Gets Bad sample rate and Channel Count it seems.

Now with Passthrough off:

13:31:54 T:1401764144 DEBUG: Frame Size : 8

Gets correct sample rate and I hear sound in Stereo as expected.
