Trying to find a workout for the Favorites folder and android apps #940

So I upgraded to 16.7.0 and like most of you are aware the favorites widget ActivateWindow(Favorites) will not actually open most of my android apps that I've added to my favorites.

So far my only workaround is using Super Favorites from the Official Kodi repo but it's not the same. It opens into a whole new folder where as before I would simply slide my remote to the right and would be browsing my apps..

Any tips/ideas guys? I'm still learning more about how SPMC/Kodi works in a more in depth approach so please bare with me

If someone could point me in the direction of the Favorites XML file or anything else related to it would potentially help me implement my Super Favorites into that folder, and have them load from there

favourites.xml is in the userdata folder. Named favourites.xml.

Why have you opened another case????????? You already have this issue open with https://github.com/koying/SPMC/issues/933 were I told you it was already open in other existing cases.

Opening multiple cases over the same issue doesn't help anyone, you are now effectively spamming the Issues.

Reinstall 16.6 and you’re fixed, it’s what I did.
