themoviedb.org #944

themoviedb.org doesnt seem to work any longer in SPMC ver. 16.5.5

What can I do?

Switch to using the Universal Scraper fixes that. Set that to use IMDB.com. tmdb changes APIs last month or two months ago and broke the ability to directly use it for SPMC Jarvis since the addon can't be updated further than 3.9.0 I think.

The universal scraper is no good. Scrapes many incorrect and foreign movies for my USA movies.

I had de same issue. To bypass, download from http://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/ these files or newer version if avaible:

But SPMC use différent version number and it is need to change version .

Now zip directories metadata.themoviedb.org and metadata.tvdb.com

And finaly install the addons.

Interesting. I have almost 100 American movies and it has never failed to get data from the correct ones every time. Im guessing you might have something set incorrectly in the settings.

Thanks @jeff2900 I managed to fix this, however changing the metadata.themoviedb.org/addon.xml to "673.9.4" did not work for me.

Im really struggling with this

Have tried the 2 fixes above and whilst the addon installs / updates the scanner will still not scan nearly all my films

Have tried Universal scraper but this does add wrong collections and wrong titles
