Also happening here with the same version, on Solus with Budgie.

Same here as you, 3 times, I'm on Xubuntu 16.04

I'm trying to find some excuse why it took me so long to find reason, but this was basically caused by code I've used to debug #468. I've forgotten to remove it afterwards.
