Expand on what security does (On day) (Ticketing)

Physical Identification Ensure that the names on IDs match the name on the tickets. Security to deal with those that don't.

Would be good to say what security is supposed to do here.

At the moment it sounds like you are either kicking them out or punishing them in some other way.

So: First:

• Attempt to make sense of the discrepancy
  • Maybe they signed up with the wrong email or with their second name

If there definitely is a discrepancy:

• Try to understand their situation
  • Are they pretending to have a ticket while they really don't?
  • Do they think they received a ticket, but were only on the waiting list? (miscommunication)
• Consider the circumstances
  • Did this person travel from far away just for the hackathon?
  • Do you have any space at all in your venue?
• Make a decision on whether to allow access to the event regardless
