The following information cannot currently be retrieved from a gr-osmosdr source or sink, and would be useful:
What type of device was opened. (Wanted when the args string is '' which auto-selects a device, and useful for when the application wants to know even more about the characteristics of the device than gr-osmosdr expresses generically.)
Whether the device supports AGC.
Whether the device (or driver) supports IQ balance and DC cancel. (The setters allegedly return a value indicating the actual result, but several impls return bogus values, and ideally this information would be available without modifying the current state.)
