[Issue Cleanup] Refer Unrelated Issues to #162 #162

Open blobbyblo opened 7 years ago

If you see a post out-of-context please comment "#162" on it!

Hello, everyone. This isn't an issue it's simply an index of which Issue posts should be deleted and references the post creator of where to go next.

If your issue was referenced towards this post then your Issue was out of context. First, I suggest you delete it.

Now that that's cleared up you might be asking yourself why you're here. Let me shed some light on that.

The Issues section is specifically for coding issues. Your post was most likely not a coding issue and simply a jailbreaking related question. Don't get me wrong, we aren't trying to be mean. We just don't need the spam of these types of posts while we could be focusing on fixing actual coding related issues.

Where do you go from here?

Well first I would suggest the Jailbreak subreddit.

From there you can search for your issue.

If you can't find a solution please post a question

We also Do Not support use of leaked IPAs.

We genuinely hope you find a solution! Thanks guys ;)

Ask ijiappia to release stashing for 10.2, that will fix the error in Cydia

help me, to fix the issue #212

Blueclipsa commented 7 years ago

If you're going to reference this post, people should probably provide solutions to the problems referenced

timonline commented 7 years ago

@Portalfan4351 then you miss the point of this post.

This is where we refer people who post out-of-context issues

Blueclipsa commented 7 years ago

@timonline I am aware, but pointing people here doesn't solve the issue of cleanup because if a user doesn't find the answer here, they're likely to just try making another post

timonline commented 7 years ago

@Portalfan4351 ok let me put it this way, if a user is referred to this post then they should probably improve their research and googling skills.

People should stop posting questions as issues

Blueclipsa commented 7 years ago

@timonline My point still stands. If the user is referred here, and finds absolutely no support, if they were already thick enough to make a post when they've been told in multiple places not to, referring them here doesn't do much of anything. It would be better if this was used as (what i think it was originally intended to be used for) a one-issue stop where people with varying, non code related issues could come and ask questions. Its not like r/jailbreak is being much help or anything

blobbyblo commented 7 years ago

@portalfan4351 Fine. I'll add a "wiki" for the lazy people. But you my sir, the only one complaining, I want one thing from you. List off all of the problems and I'll find a solution and put it in this post.

tangalbert919 commented 7 years ago

He probably used Anemone, or did some work on Winterboard himself. If he did the latter, then he's going to talk to saurik about it.

blobbyblo commented 7 years ago

@raikikon Glaskart + Winterboard. Works for me at least...
