I confirm it works on iPhone 6S
@dareal68 Thanks! Additional confirmation is appreciated.
The necessity of the fud daemon is consistent with teardowns of the adapter:

I am merging this, but I believe that at this point something is going on.
As in, reloading these daemons should not be a problem.
I believe the root cause of this has to be investigated.
I'm sorry if I sound ignorant, but what exactly do I need to do in order to fix hdmi adapter issue? I'm running iOS 10.1.1 on iPhone 5s
@tactrevor since @kpwn merged the fix just git clone the repo and compile with Xcode
Where do I get Xcode? I apologize again for making you explain to me basics.
If you have a mac, u can google Xcode and it will bring you to a apple developer website where u can download and install xCode.

Okay, I don't I have a windows pc, but I have access to a mac. After I do that what is the next step? Thank you so much for this tutorial. I feel bad not knowing this info, I general understand iOS as a whole and jailbreak as a whole.
@tactrevor This is still a beta. If you need every step explained to you, you should not be trying to compile every pull request. Just stick to the regular builds, and if there is an issue which is too much for you, then don't jailbreak. All of the info you are looking for is available very easily using google. Try googling "git basics" and "launch iOS app Xcode" and go from there.
How can we download this fix. I have iPad Air 2 iOS 10.2 I don't have MacBook Also what do mean by 4K support I just wondering? I saw some people wrote this while ago. Thanks.
@iOS4all look at previous comment
@zachal thanks, but I got it figured out. Working hdmi adapter now on iPhone 5s to Samsung smart tv running iOS 10.2 (Here's feedback.) if anyone needs help just follow comments and I can link a thread I found where it was explained better so let me know
Also if you don't want to build any profiles and aren't a developer just unjailbreak to use hdmi and rejailbreak after. That is one plus-side to Yalu JB. Thanks Luca!
@tactrevor link me the thread please.
Works on iPhone 5S and iPad Air 1
@tactrevor Can I get the link please? Thanks in advance

I was able to confirm VGA adapter operation today on my iTouch 6G and iPad Pro (both on iOS 10.2) after this fix. That adapter also causes the fud daemon to become active and the status bar to turn blue before video output starts, suggesting that it, like the HDMI adapter, has to have an accessory firmware uploaded to it before it can operate. This fix should also, therefore, resolve any issues with the VGA adapter.
I confirm it works on iPhone SE
Is there a way to fix this issue a lot easier? I have no experience with how to merge files or properly use xCode, but I would really love to get this problem fixed.
Please let me know if there is a noobs guide on what exactly I have to do, thanks
@tactrevor - i would really like to know how you did it :-) Would it not be more helpful for others just to write or link directly in the comment how you did it? :)
How can I fix this someone post a youtube video
EDIT: Nevermind, found said IPA and it worked!
Hi everyone, sorry I'm late to the party, I clearly don't use my HDMI adapter as frequently, so only realized last week that it wasn't my adapter, or HDMI cable... is this still the only way to fix this issue? Has no one out there made a new IPA of Yalu that already includes this or something, so that when we resign the next time, it'll automatically be fixed?
If not, I guess I'd appreciate that link @tactrevor, because I haven't been able to find any other solution...
Excluding fud (the Accessory Firmware Update/Upload daemon) is necessary to fix HDMI adapter operation after jailbreak. I am unable to confirm if this issue also affects other video adapters (e.g., VGA).
All tests done on Yalu b7 with modified reload file. Confirmed on an iTouch 6G and iPad Pro (both on iOS 10.2).
