AltGr Menu action prevents the input of some characters on german keyboards #47

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
It is not possible to input special characters like /[{}\?ß that can be
accesed by pressing AltGr together with a number key. E.g.: AltGr + 7 gives {
on the german keyboard layout.
Unfortunately pressing AltGr highlights the "File" in the top menu and
inputting these characters is not possible at all.

This applies to version 0.2.1.0 on linux with gnome3.

Hmm, strange, I checked on Ubuntu and the problem doesn't arise.

However, you can try the newest tikzedt version if you aren't already using it
(I just realized I forgot to increase the version number in the Linux project,
so it should be 0.2.2.)

Which linux distribution are you using?

Thanks for reporting this!
