Unusable font rendering in Linux #53

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download and run Version 0.2.2

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Text in Menus and on GUI is unreadable. See attachment.
This is probably not a problem of tikzedt but rather one of mono or something
else. But I don't know where to begin to solve this problem.

What operating system and Latex distribution (Miktex/Texlive) are you
using?

I'm running Gentoo Linux with Kernel 3.7.10
Mono version 2.10.9
Texlive 2012

Hmm, that doesn't look good.
It seems unlikely that this is Tikzedt's problem, I'd say. To check, you could
run another application using mono to see whether the rendering problems occur
there as well.

It would be good to run one GTK# application (maybe tomboy) and one winforms
app.
You could also try a different version of Tikzedt.
