What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I feel it is better to add a line icon to click any point on the screen to
draw a line like circle or rectangle tool.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

For compilation problems: What is the error pdflatex reports? You find the
latex output in the textbox at the bottom of the TikzEdt main window. (You
can switch between Status/Latex output/Error list.)

What operating system and Latex distribution (Miktex/Texlive) are you
using?
Miktex

Please provide any additional information below.

Well, there is a path icon, for drawing multiple line segments.
A line is is just a path of length one.
But I'll consider adding a separate icon in the next version.
