Syntax highlighting with Verbose #1

CleanShot 2024-11-11 at 12 42 13@2x

I was initially confused about what the dark vs. grey meant, I assume it's a 72 width counter? I think that could be made more obvious if so.

But my request here is to request syntax highlighting. I have verbose mode on when committing so I can see the changes briefly in the commit message, it is just white for now.

Great app, excited to see it improve!

It is indeed, how do you think it could be made more obvious?

For now, I added a description to the warning you get if you go over 50 characters with your commit message. Could add a warning for the description too, but I feel like this should be enough.

At first, honestly, I thought it looked broken it took me a minute to realize that was probably the 72 limit. Maybe a harder line? But the message below is helpful.
