I'm also seeing the same issue here when trying to add a lightstrip. Using Home Assistant 2022.7.7, Supervisor 2022.07.0 Operating System 8.4, Frontend 20220707.1 - latest.

Hello everyone, I had the chance to test the flow against previous and current versions of HA core/frontend and it looks like the issue lies in the latest frontend (20220707.1) since this is the only version exposing this issue. I guess there's a bug in there since the official sources don't tell anything about any migration starting in this frontend version...also, it would be very very unusual for the official team to release such a breaking change in between monthly versions...so I guess (99%) it really is a frontend bug. Let's see if something shows up in the official issues/threads for HA frontend. I didn't have the time to check yet, but I guess some similar errors should be reported at this time in those threads

I have a workaround - Just type in some random chars into the key field and set to cloud retrieve - then it'll ask for user and password and the configuration works fine.

That is a step ahead for me, only after retrieving the key and confirm, it’s asking again for user and password. Over and over again.

I still can't reproduce this issue on any HA version other than 2022.7.7 I'll close this unless there are other contributions
