[Not an Issue!] Pairer APP soon on Android: looking for testers #32

Hi @krahabb ,

Just to inform you and your community that the Meross Pairer for android is soon to get released on the store: I'm looking for smart testers to make sure the App works as expected. You can become a tester here!

Hello @albertogeniola, Thank you for inviting me. I'll do for sure! I've tried to join the meross_pairer_testers group..not sure if the request was succesfull or not since google keeps asking me to 'ask to join'

Hi @krahabb , The app has been now released on the Google App store and should be fine for your needs.

You'll find it on Google play store. It should help you and your community thanks to two capabilities:

  1. Meross cloud account key retrieval (for http usage devices)
  2. Pairing to custom broker

Thank you a lot! ..expecially the overall merossiot work was a great inspiration. There would be no meross_lan without meross_iot

@albertogeniola do you have any guidance on the proper use of the Custom Pairer App along with Meross LAN. I find that it only sort of works and there just may be a terminology issue between the 2 setups that are causing me a problem.
