Hey,
Your trial hasn't expired, has it?
The gadget should work fine on the pc running SS - I am actually using it like
that right now :)
The LAN checkbox is really only necessary if you are on the same lan AND using
a subsonic.org address.
You can access it through the browser, correct? And if you enter the exact same
url, it still doesn't work?

Oh, and what message do you get above the progress bar after you hit OK in the
settings?

Thanks for the screenshot. We actually may be fine - it looks like the gadget
is still in minimode. Go ahead and click OK on the settings screen but then
hover over the gadget and right above the settings (wrench) icon you should see
the Expand (larger/smaller) icon. Click that to show the full view. Now you
should see a progress bar with some message above it - right under the sub
icon. Let me know what that says.

Ahh all worked :) it was just in mini-mode :)
Will you add an option to play Internet Radio? (what I dont understand, in
Subsonic I can add Internet Radio) but not any client can play it (except
Subsonic site itself)!
Very irritating.. it should be able to play this from within the same app!

Glad that took care of it. :) All the clients rely on the Subsonic API and at
this time it doesn't provide any way to grab the internet radio feature of
Subsonic. Sindre is great at listening to feedback so if there isn't a thread
on the forum requesting this already, there won't be any harm in starting one
if you want.
On a side note, the gadget will actually play internet radio (at least with the
urls I have tested) perfectly fine on it's own (completely isolated from
Subsonic) although there isn't anyway to do so at the moment. I have never used
internet radio personally (except for testing it with gadget just now) but if
you can provide the url's you are using I can play around with it and see if I
can make it come together seamlessly in the gadget. I am going to go ahead and
close out this issue so if you want to pursue the internet radio feature,
please create a new issue as a Feature Request and we can use it to track that.
