I am using Tail File to check my ArmA3 .rpt log files. For every restart of the game there is a new .rpt file created. For me that means I have to reopen the youngest file every time. That sums up to like 50-70 openings a day.
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to tell Tail File a file extension or name with wildcards like *.rpt or arma3-2019-09-01-* and it will automatically tail the freshest log file that matches the condition. So I just need to use Tail File once and can restart ArmA3 as often as I want to. I always end up with the actual log file.
Describe alternatives you've considered
If the wildcard freshest file appending won't work maybe Tail File can at least point to the freshest file when using Tail File by default so I just have to enter + enter through.
