multi-omics methods pubished till date (Review article and figure)

Hi Mike,

Here is the review article link by Subramanian I et al, 2019 with multi-omics method names. Consult Figure 1.

Let me know what you think and how you want to use the names of these methods for any over or under-representation search or make top 5/6 method names that we can directly name in the section of the text int the MS where I have named SNF, MOFA, etc. Currently, I have added a line about naming their popularity based on application, user support, and citation but your analysis and figure can be added or we can use it as a justification later if reviewers question us.

Thining about the best way to do it... I would search for:

• full method name
• citation of the paper introducing the method
  • each method may have one or more papers, sometimes including re-implementation as software packages; one would ideally check citations of the original publication to see what was it followed by
• the abbreviation, case sensitive (we do not want nemo)
  • abbreviations may bring a lot of false positives; if a paper is matched only because of abbreviation (no matching full name nor citation), it would need to be manually checked
  • some abbreviations are actually case insensitive

(not saying I will manage to do it, just writing down ideas).
