Hinting of ampersand broken in Source Code Pro Bold

What steps will reproduce the problem?
On a system with bytecode hinting enabled (Windows, some Linux configurations, 
etc.), render an ampersand (&) using the Source Code Pro Bold font.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output: The ampersand looks like an ampersand.
Actual output: Either the ampersand is invisible, or it's an unreadable mess.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.009 (commit 1db48fec21c5), Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
