Google Web Fonts not functioning with IE11 #242

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add any font to a page.
2. Browse said page in IE11
3. Recieve error: CSS3114 "@font-face failed OpenType embedding permission
check. Permission must be Installable."

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The font should be served in a way that allows IE11 to use the font.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Win8.1 Preview, Internet Explorer 11.

Please provide any additional information below.

I cannot reproduce this any longer. It appears that they have either fixed the
problem or the fonts have been updated for compatibility.

I got around this by storing the fonts locally.
