Hi Kreizli, HP did not offer a Quad Core processor until the G5 series. The Intel Core i5 7300U has only 2 cores and 4 threads.😁

I got really excited when I saw your title. A quad core for such a cheap price!!! You have to spend a lot more money to get the newer quad cores G5, G6 etc.💰
