Any luck with video import? #1

Hi Andre,

Firstly, a big thanks for this repo - it got my Lightroom 6 version back up and working on my Catalina laptop. The only thing that doesn't work is video importing, which gives me a "There is a problem with the video file" error, no matter what type of video I'm trying to import.

Just wondering if you had any luck in this area? I'm not sure if the issue is specific to my install or whether you've come across it too.

Kind regards

Dan

Hi Dan,

Thank you for your message. I don’t import my videos into Lightroom but I checked it on my computer and got the same error. I think somehow it needs dynamiclinkmanager which is still a 32bit app. I couldn't find any log files or anything like that to track down the problem.

Sorry about that!

André

Hi Andre,

I think you're right - all the solutions to the video import issues I've found involve stopping the dynamiclinkmanager processes, which obviously isn't running under Catalina. Thanks again for your help :)

Kind regards
