Benchmarks required for ARM7 #169

1. Get some games
2. Note CPU usage, especally the ARM7 percentages.
3. Note the type of CPU, including support for CPU extensions like SSE

PsyMan, I'm available for whatever needed. I would like to ask for KrossX or 
you PsyMan to compile the revision r51 and put it available on the download 
section since it adds functionality to support this request. I only have three 
games now, gotta find the rest of my Dreamcast games.

I would also like to ask to brddeth to put a more complete description of how 
it should be done, for the newbies. Although I don't think it is really 
necessary, everything needed is in the profiler console, enough said.

i have an old pc for emulating purpose:

AMD Athlon xp 1900+ @ 1.6ghz 3Dnow and sse1 only
512 ddr ram
128 mb nvidia fx5200 video card
onboard sound
Windows xp sp3

nulldc 1.0.6    runs perfectly with nullpvr and chankast aica
nulldc 1.3      run slow even without sound
nulldc 1.4 r52  exe open and close quikly, i think doest support sse1...shame

NeoHumanity: Have you played Ikuraga or Grandia II? Those are from what I know, 
extremely synth heavy, so good to test. 

Would be *very* interesting to see the results there. Looking at DOA2: LE, 
there seems to be a need for *major* improvement. And Crazy Taxi's results are 
even worse. So the main bottleneck is indeed ARM7, which is not optimized at 
all.

Here's Ikagura, although I should note that this was booted from a compilation 
disc rather than a retail image. I assume that once the compilation's loader 
boots the game it should be the same as a retail image so long as they haven't 
messed with anything, and I doubt they have because Ikaruga is a very small 
game by itself.

@brdeth, afaik, this is based on the older 1.8 arm before the optimisations... 
however those did bust up a few titles timings.....

in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 v1.001 (2000)(Capcom)(NTSC)(US)[!].gdi i get this 
message box after a while:

it crashes after I hit OK on this message box

anyway, I managed to finish the game in arcade mode without crashes here goes:
