Bug Description
Hello, I’m using the latest version of Fluffychat on iOs, Android and Web, against a self-hosted Matrix server running Synapse v.1.99.0.
On each platform, I seem to get very inconsistent display of read notifications: most of the time they will be missing completely, on other occasions they will show up, but maybe only for some participants in the room.
When accessing the same account and the same rooms with the Element client, all the notifications are shown correctly, so I know that there’s no issue on the server side.
The issue is observed no matter what software the client on the other side is using (Fluffychat or Element).
Is the read notification feature perhaps still under development? Shall I expect consistent behaviour on the current Fluffychat version, or maybe not yet?

Steps to Reproduce
Use Fluffychat to access any room, send a message, and watch for the read notification to appear next to the message when the counterpart has read it.
Expected Behavior
The read notification icon (small circle with the user avatar or username initial) should appear next to the message as soon as it has been read by one or more people in the room.
