Wrong contact taken out of contact list #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Change contact to display. Contact app opens
2. Choose a contact
3. A totally different contact is show in contact owner

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

HTC Hero, German, Android 2.1

Having the exact same problem. HTC Desire, English, Android 2.1

Same issue.  Contactowner 2.1.  Android Eclair 2.1 on Sony Ericsson x10 Mini
