Hello, I am trying to install this on Ubuntu 12.04 but not following the exact instructions about how to go about it.

Can you please advise? Does this run purely on a browser over HTTP?

Can you please also give some information on how this app works?

Thank you.

@fountainhead are you setting up the nutty client or the server? It runs purely on browser over HTTP. Yes. You just need to install tmux and nutty on your desktop.

Didn't the instructions here https://nutty.io/install help? What problem are you facing?

@krishnasrinivas

Here is what I did.

1) Install MongoDB 2) curl https://install.meteor.com/ | sh 3) sudo npm install -g meteorite 4) git clone https://github.com/krishnasrinivas/nuttyapp.git 5) cd nuttyapp 6) sudo mrt install 7) mrt ... (to run the app)

Is that all I need?

I guess that I setup the server be able to access using a simple chrome

You don't need to do "sudo" for step-6.

Also you have to follow the remaining steps under "Deploy nutty server on a cloud server like EC2:" section. Your current setup is incomplete. You can join #nutty irc.freenode.net I can help you out. https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net/nutty
