fix the singularity template use exec and change the data_path source #45

use exec instead of shell command
remove the echo commands
use the data_path value from the defaults.json
fix the data path in the default config file

The changes to the singularity command make sense to me. But I just want to make sure the other changes (in the preprocessing file) aren't coming from some other unmerged branch. If not, I'll merge.
