What's the name of your proposed event? For instance, "Byteconf GraphQL".

Byteconf Go

What would the event cover?

Go - anything within the programming language

Do you have any speakers you'd like to see at the conference?

1) Jon Calhoun 2) Todd McLeod 3) Francesc Campoy 4) Ashley McNamara 5) If possible I would love to do an 'Intro to Golang' presentation. (I've been giving that talk locally in Toronto a couple of times already)

Anything else you want us to know about your idea?

It's a bit difficult for most places to get enough people for a conference or big meetup (since everyone is geographically spread) and I think when people love Go, they really LOVE it and they will be happy to participate in planning/virtually attending the conference.

There's probably way more people we can include for speakers :) I've named the ones that helped me along the way of learning Go :) Huge thanks btw!!!
