Intro: A core widget in SP is the SOP widget. It is used for visualizing SOPs, creating SOPs and to control the execution of operations.

Current functionality:

• Draw a SOP based on a json structure
• Can also show conditions in an operation
• Create Sequences
• Add groups (parallel, alternative, arbitrary)
• Drag and drop operations from tree to SOP
• Move around elements in SOP
• Rotate SOP
• When dragging over position where to drop, the sop is colored
• Deleting elements

New version

The new version should have the same functionalities as the old one but easier code and new functionalities.

• Better Drag n drop
• Easy to move around and understand where to drop. And if it is possible to drop
• Collapse any group
• Show children in operations
• If a sop is dragged into another sop, a hierarchy node is created. It can be collapsed and viewed as an operation (with a small plus sign) and expended and viewed as a SOP inside a box.
• Be able to add colors to operations e.g. show current active operations (will be created by the back-end). Or other colors based on attributes in the json
• Add other items in a sop. Soon we need to add other types of “items” inside the SOP, so it should be easy to add new things in the json-format. For example, different types of lines between operations, highlighting, etc

Drag and drop in svg can be a challenge. We need to be able to move inside a SOP. between SOP widgets and between other widgets (especially the item tree) into the SOP. Also add and move groups like Parallel, sequence etc is important.
