add a bug fix for unicode encoding issues, didn't register an official bug as we handled a couple of bits in our work
Description
Add more practical detail on getting the containerized version of cerberus to work, in tandem with some other fixes we found in the course of our work. This really made it possible to automate the great work done on this project.
