The defacto packaging format that works across all modern Linux desktops and is pre-included in many is Flatpak, so it would be awesome to get PowerTunnel packaged as a Flatpak. It would also make it more portable, as any required dependencies would be included or handled automatically. It would also help with discoverability, as it could be added to Flathub, the app store repository that is pre-included in many Linux-based OSes like Fedora, Endless OS, PureOS, Manjaro, Mint, Pop!_OS, Zorin OS, Clear Linux, KDE Neon, etc.
