I hope this message finds you well! It was a pleasure meeting you last Thursday. Your work in genetics and the impactful research you're doing with the NIH and various universities caught my attention, and I've been eager to reach out. I'm not big on LinkedIn these days so I thought I would just go directly to the source(code.)
Apologies for the delay in getting in touch; I've been swamped with a project at my day job. I had some time over the weekend and I dug into the PubMed data for abstracts, and for working with the GRCh38.p13 genome data. I'm not entirely sure of the practical applications but was mind mapping some ideas on finding patterns, and visualizing my data analysis using python.
I remember you mentioned looking for collaborative opportunities, and I would be happy to discuss further in person. I'm particularly interested in how we could leverage AI and the extensive datasets I've been working with to advance your research in genetics. For me, seeing how I can use AI to dive into different disciplines is always a rewarding journey.
Also, the venue for this week's open forum has changed but is still just down the road. It would be great to catch up there if you're attending. If not please drop your email here (obfuscated if you want due to spiders, etc) and we can collab that way. Since Github removed messaging, I picked an older repo to comment on, hopefully you'll see it!
Looking forward to potentially collaborating and hoping to see you again soon.
