-fpascal-strings unrecognized option #1

i have to remove the -fpascal-strings from Makefile to build pix_openni on Ubuntu 12.04 g++ -v output : gcc version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5)

best
