On LW, the default value for editing a content field is a minor revision, which bumps the version by 0.1.0. On GW, you set the relevant update type to major causing some inconsistency in how editing on the two sites work.
It's your call on how you want to display the revision system, but my guess is that setting them by default to minor is a better choice.
