I think the buttons should take us to the overview and use-cases, rather than getting started and docs. Those are the resources that a new arrival is likely to want first.

As you say those are the important resources for people wanting context but we want to get people up and running with as little fuss as possible. I am starting wonder if we should just move overview below the fold on the homepage?
The docs are good landing point for people wanting details.
I actually think it renders nicely with three buttons so maybe cover each base
