None of the channels is loading / playing anymore just circles back to menu #132

None of the channels are loading / playing anymore just circles back to menu. I have tried to logout and login again with OTP but of no use still channels wont play. Checked there are NO Kodi / plugin / add on updates needed can someone please check and help thanks in advance

Do not have any repo links because now hardly any developer actively maintains/fixes the plugin. KODI update to Omega v21.x is not recommended as it will give new bugs with each release. As for the plugin, it is compatible more with stable release of KODI Nexus v20.5 for now.

downgrading everything is not an option for me what are your thoughts about this project https://github.com/jtvpremium/jio-jtv-premium is it safe

@Amirdavarthini May I know what all actions performed? For me when I click on any channel, it's saying playback failed. One or more items failed to play.

@technofreak24 Thanks for the solution, but why isn't the EPG showing? The plug-in seems to be working fine, but there's no information about any channels.

Download both files, install kodi apk, follow rest of the on screen instructions to provide permissions once done, navigate to settings AddOns and install from zip file -> point to the zip downloaded, wait for 10 mins and then jio plugin is installed -> then install simple ip pvr and u are all set login and use

Download both files, install kodi apk, follow rest of the on screen instructions to provide permissions once done, navigate to settings AddOns and install from zip file -> point to the zip downloaded, wait for 10 mins and then jio plugin is installed -> then install simple ip pvr and u are all set login and use

@Amirdavarthini @technofreak24 - so after kodi installation and permissions, we need to install add on frok zip file for tobalan and install tobolan repository, and then we need to again install from zip file and point to the zip downloaded. Am I right ?

I have done above mentioned by me and it's giving error playback failed. Could you please suggest what needs to be done ?

First of all ensure kodi nexus 20.5 is installed. Then you don't need to add any repository etc. Just go to install from zip file and install this zip file.

Hi, Iam trying to install from ZIP but when we navigate to the downloaded path zip file is not showing in that path.

There is some setting in kodi you need to enable to display all types of files.

@azoksky - I tried with above url instructions. But Kodi app which was mentioned there is not getting installed in tv. It says app not installed

Maybe ur tv doesn't support armv8. So try this.. will surely work

EPG by tobalan fails to run these days. We are testing another new EPG which the person has agreed to maintain and including redirects to Sony from other sources. Some more changes to make this working in Matrix/Nexus/Omega too.

Maybe ur tv doesn't support armv8. So try this.. will surely work

@azoksky - i tried and I'm getting playback failed error while trying to play any channel. Not sure what's wrong with this. What we need to do when we get this error ?

can you pls help me out how to change those settings.

Go to apps in settings. Select kodi, then permissions. Then files --> you need to allow all the time. Then go to kodi and select install from zip file. And select external storage and go to downloads, you will see the .zip there. Install it

@azoksky - i tried and I'm getting playback failed error while trying to play any channel. Not sure what's wrong with this. What we need to do when we get this error ?

It is working perfectly here.. reinstall the app

Install this zip first https://github.com/krreet/plugin.video.jiotv/releases/latest

Then install https://github.com/kiranreddyrebel/plugin.video.jiotv/releases/download/jiotv_2024_kodi_plugin/plugin.video.jiotv-kiran.zip

Now you will have the jio add on. Do not open the add on yet.

Set it up like the way you usually do by going setting option of the add-on including the jio login

Turn off the kodi app.

Relaunch.. it should work. It works perfectly for me
