When I merge a range of revisions, the auto-generated merge log message always 
crops the first two characters from the source path.

Here is a recent example:
Merged revision(s) 12852 from unk:

"unk" should be "trunk"

This happens regardless of source or destination.

The issue is due to the fact that the url that was merged from needs escaping 
in the part *before* the part that was used for the merge.
