Please could you recommend SIP server with wich CSIPSimple works better of all.
What is your sip server?

I have tried several, but all they limited.
On some presence is disabled, on some available codecs filtered, on some ICE
and STUN is filtered. Many sip providers make their self maid rules, bases on
SIP headers. May be they do this for better compatibility with old devices, I
do not know.

You could try pbxes.org. They are too far away to be useful to me, but maybe
not for you.

Actually, there is no sip server that works "better" with "csipsimple". Your
question is more about the best sip provider in the absolute. The one has best
features, and codecs available. :)

I try to keep the project independant of any sip provider. (unlike sipdroid
that is really linked and developped by pbxes.org -- which is a very good
service --).
But I try to keep the app independant on that matter ;).

That's the dark side of the freedom... the choice ;)... too much choice...

From my little experience, all really matter on your current situation and what
you'd like to do with your sip client. It depends on location, on carrier you
use, on where you'd like to call... So there is no absolutely better sip
provider.

As far as I'm concerned, I usually use the SIP account provided by my ISP (in
france ISP provide a SIP account that allow to make landline calls for free ;)
).

Thank you for answers. I'll try pbxes.org.
I wanna find full featured SIP provider with rightly-configured servers
according to RFC. p2p calls mostly do not worries providers, do not brings
profit, so it not motivated to configure servers in details.
