I'm far to be an expert on server side management. I guess there is geek users
that use their own sip server here, that may help...
But I'm not sure that's really relevant of csipsimple project, but more of sip
server (here asterisk) project. Maybe you should consider search on asterisk
wiki and forum instead.

All csipsimple needs is a sip server that is compliant with SIP RFC on the
other side. You may have to activate/deactivate some options in csipsimple to
have it working correctly according on how the sip server manage things, but
should not be harmless.

And actually asterisk is known to respect correctly SIP RFC so csipsimple
should work out of the box with an already properly configured asterisk on the
other side ;)

I leave the issue open if some can help you, but I don't think the good place
is CSipSimple wiki. Or maybe if there is some specific things that can not be
setup on asterisk and requires some hack on CSipSimple side, but in this case
I'd prefer create a generic wizard for that (but I don't think that's necessary
with asterisk).
The good place for this wiki page is probably on the astersik project website
(if not already exists)

Oh, and I forgot, if the problem you have is just to get it working *with*
csipsimple (I mean you can connect from a desktop client), you can obviously
send me logs (see HowToCollectLogs wiki page), I'll be pleased to help you if I
find any clue in the register process :)
