Explore how parachute was deployed in RockSat 2022. Referencing Dr. Lumpp's advice below
For the most recent rocksat, where we pulled a pin with a servo, we bypassed the control board so the servo would swing to the limit when power was applied. In that way, it draws no power until actuated, and instead of generating an appropriate PWM, it required only single bit flip with a FET to apply power and fire the actuator (like a ballistic cutter or other one shot actuator). Does require modifying the servo, but may be more robust.
