I use Krypton as second factor for Google Mail. I configured an app password and tried to add this mail account to Thunderbird.
As my account has 2FA activated, Google asks for the U2F token. This is presented an a Thunderbird web window that has no connection to the Firefox Add-On. Therefore I cannot "press" the button on the emulated U2F token.
In addition, Google is not satisfied alternatively used TOTP token from an authenticator app, they insist on the U2F token.
Is there any way to access Krypton from within Thunderbird's login browser window?
In Firefox I can log in without any hassle, that works perfectly.
Thanks.
BTW - Thunderbird is the current version of Linux Mint 20.
