I find the github syntax highlighting and markdown formatting to be a better landing experience for the project then the current monospace font.

Let me answer this with what I pass off as a haiku:

Markdown or Plaintext it's like the colour of the shed in this spring rain

If nothing more, it will illustrate my bad sense for aesthetics and justify my plain text README. Happy hacking!
