Hello, It's in terms of coalescent units. For more details, check out the explanation of -DivTime in the user manual: https://github.com/ksiewert/BetaScan/wiki/Basic-Usage#explanation-of-parameters .

Hi, What is the unit of differentiation time (DivTime) between outgroup and target group? Like -DivTime 12.5 means that the differentiation time is 125,000 years ago? Thanks

Thank you for your reply. Is the 2 of g=cNe2 the square of the effective population size? If the g=57667,Ne=30000, so the c is 0.000064, is it right?
Thank you very much!
