This branch wasn't working well for me, so I made some changes. Since it seems to be a stagnant branch, I wanted to push this changes in case you'd like to incorporate them. (Obviously feel free to merge/modify and discard anything you feel unnecessary for your repo).
Summary of changes:
Added exposureTimeInUs, bufferMode (with OldestFirst (first in first out) option), bufferSize and disableGamma options into config and CLI arguments.
Commented out display thread and relevant functions, plotting should be done in the main thread for this to work. I have added ToDo's in the code
Added more verbose exceptions and also multiple type of exceptions (both native Python and Spinnaker exceptions) for better error messages
Implemented a check on each frame, it will throw an exception (ImageNotCompleteException) if the grabbed image is not complete
Enabled ChunkData payload of the camera and modified the GetTimeStamp function, so that it retrieves the timestamps from the frames instead of the camera
Implemented the ability to change the ROI size of the camera to be able to adjust the frame sizes.
Edited the ConfigureTrigger function so that it enables the TriggerOverlap feature of the camera (important for reaching higher frame rates as the camera can acquire another frame and keep it in the buffer while the previous one is being transmitted)
