[7/17/14, 9:25:49 AM] Alta Enslin: Hi All - According to the UIM (https://wiki.kuali.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=328733533): "Weekday character — Days of the week are represented using a unique single character: MTWHFSU. For student- and public-facing pages, this administrative notation may be converted to a more user-friendly indicator (e.g., MTuWThFSSu)."

What will be the best for our Admin facing Student Reg screens?

We, in South Africa, have a problem understanding T for Tuesday and H for Thursday.....

@ George - what did you use in the Student facing screens (I get an error in the build now)

[7/17/14, 9:27:18 AM] George Wendal: I'm pretty sure we are using the more user friendly indicators: MTuWThFSSu

[7/17/14, 9:29:23 AM] Alta Enslin: Thanks, that will be our choice as well. @ Core - can we choose to use the 'friendly' abbreviations for admin screens as well? Or is the UIM set n stone on this one?

[7/18/14, 11:32:23 AM] Chris Basham: @ Alta We are fine with the longer, more "friendly" abbreviations for admin screens. Unless others inform us about issues in the UI or other research that would challenge that decision, it seems quite a sensible thing to do.

[7/18/14, 11:33:40 AM] Alta Enslin: Thanks! We will go 'friendly' then!
