Unable to install on Mac via latest DMG or latest beta #339

I am unable to install using the DMG or Beta zip file.

To Reproduce For the DMG I open the DMG, drag & drop the app to Applications. When I try to open it gives a message that the app is damaged. For the zip file, when I run lightzone.command, I have to manually approve using every file called via Privacy & Security and again every time I run the command.

Expected behavior I would expect either the DMG app to work as expected, or when I run the command, everything work without manual intervention.

Desktop (please complete the following information): DMG version 4.2.5, zip w/ lightzone.command 5.0.0beta2 MacOS 14.4.1

An update. My initial effort with the DMG was using the ARM version, as I'm on Apple Silicon. Any attempt to use that version throws the error that the app is damaged.

As I have Rosetta installed for other apps, I downloaded the Intel DMG. That version works as expected. I am in a working state, however the ARM version is still broken from my perspective.

I am also unable to install on M2 Mac mini, using LightZone-4.2.5-20220618-arm.dmg, same error: ' "LightZone" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the trash.'

Upon pressing the question mark on the dialog box for help, I get: "The app has been modified or damaged

The app has been modified, and its code does not match the original signed code. The app may be broken or corrupted, or it may have been tampered with. If you think that an app has been damaged or tampered with, you should delete it by dragging it to the Trash.
