Just like for downloading files, it would be nice to have a progress bar for file extraction since on some systems it may take longer than expected.

Is this for the TUI or GUI?

This is for the TUI. Might bottleneck the extraction if it's in the GUI as well (but that change will need to be backported to #6 )

I made a proof of concept on my desktop at home, which I can share later today after work.
