- The algorithm used by sort() is IntroSort. Introsort being a hybrid sorting algorithm uses three sorting algorithm to minimize the running time, Quicksort, Heapsort and Insertion Sort. Simply putting, it is the best sorting algorithm around. It is a hybrid sorting algorithm, which means that it uses more than one sorting algorithms as a routine.

Junior level. He did ok answering some general questions about microservices, but only the basics and had no work experience with it, lack of security related knowledge for microservices.

Couldn't go into depth regarding load balancing, caching, securing APIs. Knew the term continuous hashing, but his description and benefits of using it were off the the mark.

Related intern work at IBM wasn't too relevant to system design. He need more experience with SD.

Ask him to implement a toggle for using cashback in PayPay. He did ok, identifying some of the APIs, although where he'd store the data and the flow through the system was a little awkward. Didn't completely finish. Wasn't really clear on storage of data related to cashback.
