1.1 introduction looks great. 1.2 what is terraform is great too. really hits on all the major touchpoints and specifically in the context of kubernetes.

2.1 terraform fundamentals - the script is spelled out in detail. looks great. 2.2 completes the picture by discussing providers and state. the author clearly knows this tech. i say let him start recording.

the next sections are the logical next steps: with fundamentals out of the way we now get into the business of using terraform to provision a k8s cluster and then to configure it. i like that section 3 discusses and compares terraform with alternatives. i also like that it's presented after the main exercise.

Hey, folks!

I completed the test recording: link (VMware login required). The template that I was given did not have the INSERT VIDEO HERE slide, so I added it manually.

OBS question. I have a bunch of pre-configured scenes. I think that importing the scenes provided will wipe out the scenes I already have. It seems that I only need scenes for:

• Audio only
• Audio + Display capture, and
• Video + Audio + Display Capture

I already have something like the third one. Does my recording suffice, or do I need to make changes?

Thanks for the video @carlosonunez . After reviewing the video a few requests please:

• The video should be in the top right corner of the slides. You can watch other KubeAcademy videos to see examples and also use the template which has the place for your video to go.
• The audio is only coming out of the left channel as opposed to both.
• The webcam video appears to be cutting off the top of your head

Just reviewed the hello video, mostly looks good. Here are some things I noticed:

• Top of your head is chopped off a bit in the web cam
• The webcam box should be on top right instead of top left.

Hello world take #2 complete! Check it out.

(I realize that the file is in .mov format. Sorry about that! This was done because I realized I recorded in stereo again while my mic is XLR and is mono-only. I was able to fix it in GarageBand, but I couldn't get the audio track when I converted it into MP4. Future recordings will be mono audio in MP4 format.)

See below for feedback on some things I noticed that we'll need to address:

• 2.2-slide4 - the code snippet is hard to read and has highlighting on it and is inconsistent with code snippets in the other lessons. Would suggest changing this one to be consistent with the textual ones in the other lessons as opposed to a screenshot that it is now.
• There are Next Lesson slides and commentary at the end of the recordings that should be removed.
• The recordings deviate quite a bit from the script that was reviewed, both in content, wording, and in additions to graphics (ie. the this is bad!).
• The introductions appear to be different from the opening lines in the scripts
• No need to spell out URLs on the video. For any links that you want people to know about we can add them to the KubeAcademy web interface for that lesson.

Before doing additional recordings, I would suggest working on these items for one of the videos and see how it turns out.

• at timestamp 1.01, seems like the sentence is a tongue twister and repeated a few times.

Thanks for re-recording. Looks much better. There are still some issues with the code snippets as blurry screenshots, etc. but overall improved.

In addition to what Lee mentioned, I noticed some flashing in video 1.2 around 1:47.

There are pauses, repeats, and a few other items that I'm not sure will be an issue for the video editors. @BoschemVM and @meghnam00 what do you think based upon your experience with the video editors?

I apologize for the delays in providing recordings to everyone. Unfortunately, I will need to delay this further due to vacation and training for a new engagement I'm entering immediately afterwards.

At this time, it is looking like I will not be able to restart recording until March 13th at the earliest.

Is this delay okay? Or should we shelve the course until I can begin recording again?

Sorry been busy on other efforts. Things look better from a delivery perspective. Unfortunately it appears the recording quality has changed and has suffered. Noticing the following:

• pixelation of the video
• resolution is 1280x720
• the audio appears to be out of sync from the video

Anyone else noticing this?

Hey, Ryan! I'm sorry that you're seeing these inconsistencies. Unfortunately, between clients and other projects, I no longer have enough time to re-record these courses.

Several months ago, you suggested that someone else record over my scripts. Perhaps we should re-visit that idea?
